3. Run the list through Keyword Insights.
4. Use “Cluster with AI”: It will suggest the best primary keyword based on the metrics. As a rule of thumb, look for:
- High impressions
- Average position ~6-30/40 (great “low-hanging fruit”)
- POP Keyword score above 50 (but if you are ranking in top 20 can be lower)
POP Clustering algorithm with AI will analyze all metrics, serps and user intent and label the best keyword to go after as primary top level keyword.
General Tip: If your top level page already ranks in positions 3-6 for top level keyword, prioritize publishing supporting content first. Hold off on heavy on-page edits unless there’s a clear win.
6. Build the SILO: Once you select the top-level keyword, run 1-Click SILO to generate supporting keywords and content ideas.
Supporting keywords with search console + POP
Use custom regex formula to find question keywords on page level which might be good option for FAQ/Subheading or Supporting content:
- If ranking in top 50 - use it as possible FAQ or subheading on the actual top-level page
- If ranking 50+ use it as supporting to run through POP
- KGR score needs to be below 2.5, the lower the better
- POP Clustering algorithm with AI will analyze all metrics, serps and user intent and label the best keyword to go after as supporting keyword.
