How to Use Auto Writing in the POP AI Writer for Fast, Optimized Content

The Auto Writing feature in Page Optimizer Pro (POP) AI Writer is designed to generate SEO-optimized content quickly and efficiently, using data-backed strategies and high-quality writing. It’s ideal for users who want to create new content fast, without needing granular control over each section. Auto Writing is perfect for supporting pages, blog posts, or when you need to scale content production.

To begin, go to the AI Writer tab and click Create New. You can either start from an existing optimization report or create a new one from scratch. If starting new, you’ll need to enter:

• Your domain name

• Target keyword

• Website language

• Region of operation

Once your content brief is generated, you’ll be given the option to choose between Guided Writing and Auto Writing. For this workflow, select Auto Writing.

Select your desired word count, keeping in mind that POP uses 2 credits per 1000 words. For example, if you exceed 1000 words (e.g., 1001), the system will use 4 credits instead of 2. Try to stay close to your target to optimize credit usage.

POP will automatically suggest three competitors, but you can preview and modify these choices. Choose pages that align with your content’s purpose and search intent to ensure better AI output.

Select from six supported content types:

• Article: In-depth, informative content that explores a topic or answers questions.

• Blog Post: Shorter form content, ideal for updates or supporting pillar pages.

• Product Page: Tailored for e-commerce, showcasing specific products.

• Product Category Page: Groups related products for broader keyword targeting.

• Category Page: Used in blogs to group posts under a shared theme.

• Service Page: Highlights offerings and converts visitors into leads.

By adding your ChatGPT API key, you reduce credit usage significantly—Auto Writing with rich content will only cost 2 POP credits total, regardless of word count or enhancements.

To add your API key, go to account settings in POP, click the GPT-4 access key tab, and paste in your key. Learn how to add your API key here.

Rich content options include lists, FAQs, image placeholders, and more. These selections affect POP credit usage if you haven’t added your API key. You can:

• Adjust the number of content elements (like lists)

• Deselect elements to reduce credits

• Add a main page and supporting pages and internal linking will be directly integrated into your AI article

You can also select your optimization level for each piece of content choose between minimal, balanced, high and maximum. The article Levels of Optimization gives more detailed information on each level.

You can improve content output by filling in:

• Product or service description

• Sample content for tone and style

• Target audience

• Tone of voice and preferred author persona

• Brand-specific notes

Exclude unwanted terms like:

• Industry jargon you don’t use

• AI-sounding phrases

• Competitor brand names

Once you’ve configured your article, hit Generate. POP AI Writer will create the content for you automatically. After generation, you can edit any paragraph inline, regenerate sections up to five times without using additional credits, and use the History tab to review and select from previous versions. You can also download any images generated by the AI directly.

Once your article is complete, download it in the format best suited for your CMS using the Download As option. After uploading the content to your website, activate POP Watchdog to automatically monitor and track how your page performs in the search engine results over time.
