POP will count any text that is in a visible HTML tag.

Some examples of visible HTML tags would be: <p>, <li>, <h1>, <a>, and <table> tags, to name a few.

POP will count text in visible tags wherever those tags are located on the page. This is because after extensive testing we've found that Google takes all the important terms into consideration regardless of location on the page.

POP will not count text in some particular tags, for example: <script>, <video>, and <iframe>.

POP will also not count anything in a <div> tag if it does not contain an additional visible HTML tag, such as a <p> tag.
